App to watch your Pooch on iPhone!

While I have never visited a Camp Bow Wow location and, therefore, can not speak to their reputation, facilities, staff or services, I do like a new “perk” they are offering clients. Camp Bow Wow has reportedly launched its “first official iPhone application, allowing customers to view their pet via web cam while on the go, rather than strictly by computer…”The Camp Bow Wow iPhone application displays a clear picture, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Customers can log-in to their location by entering the state and city and then clicking on their particular Camp Bow Wow outpost. The application taps into the existing on-site cameras…” As with other iPhone applications, the Camp Bow Wow iPhone app can be downloaded directly from a compatible Wi-Fi equipped device, at the iTunes store…or directly from the Camp Bow Wow website. Retails for $1.99.

Smart idea considering we are in an application era! In this day and age, every daycare (whether human or canine) should be offering this convenient option. Now if we could only create our own personal “app” to plug into our phones in order to watch our dogs at home! :) Actually, I’m sure it is possible - I’m just not that advanced myself yet!

Remember, when choosing a day care or boarding facility for your canine child - use due diligence! Search online for reviews. VISIT the location and access cleanliness, structure, staff, safety and emergency plans. You can never be too cautious when trusting your family member to someone else’s care. ;) Camp Bow Wow has several locations throughout the United States.
